  So long.....
Posted Mar 1 2010 8:56 pm

It's been so long since I wrote a blog. I'm a disgrace and so are my sisters, actually they're more of a disgrace than me as I have been distracted with our Facebook page and they have just been plain lazy. Well I must say I've been lazy as well. Since I last wrote we spent 3 fantastic months at home. It was a cleansing month for me as I realised that someone whom I had very strong feelings for was not the man for me. Apart from that small blip I had a brilliant time although we had the worst weather ever. It was the coldest winter on record for over 50 yrs. That still didn't stop me heading out every weekend in my 5 inch heels!!! I wish I had some photographs but it's one of those things, you never seem to have a camera when you want one. We only had a camera out one night so I will post one of those photos. After we came back we went to Florida and did some gigs in Cypress Lake Middle School and a hospital and on the Fri. night we played at the Rotary Club Fundraiser. Then we headed on our Caribbean Cruise and I have to say it was fantastic, if you want to see a load of photos you can check our Facebook page or else ait for a ahem.....short while and I will have them up on our photos page.
Then when we got back, we went to play at the Mid Winter Festival in King of Prussia. We had the best fun again this year at this wonderful festival. Bill and Karen are really kind people who look after the artists so well. We also got to jam with some of the members of Brother and Colin and Davey from Albannach. We also must extend our thanks to Aya for boosting our T Shirt sales by modelling our pink girls T Shirt so beatifully. I also had great fun in the pub on Sat night with Donnie and Jamsie.
Then on the Mon we flew back to Ireland for our bus tour. The crew joined us the following Sun and we spent the next week drinking and drinking and drinking(well me anyway!!) Colin from Albannach actually came over for the gig in Donegal and played a tune with us. Yet again photos are presently on Facebook but should be up here soon.
Anyway, that's about it....dull I can hear you say and I totally agree with you. I'm blaming the jetlag and the fact that I took a large large spoon of Udo's oil this morning and I've been feeling quite nauseous all day.
With that pleasant thought I will sign off for now.
